Installation views of FIRESTAIR, which runs/ran from 11 September to 26 October 2002. I selected five details from the drawing and printed them at 14 dpi on Tyvek. Many people have remarked that they would like to see the whole thing at 'actual size', which now means about 50 feet high. If anyone wants to put this on the side of a building, let me know. Viewer feedback has been good. Comments run the gamut, but many appreciate the personal aspect of the work, and the marked difference in tone and aesthetic from most media response to the wtc bombings. I put this up the night before the anniversary, so it was there in the morning for the passersby on their way to work.
